Many of us have experienced some circumstance or situation that is so devastating or horrific for someone we love, perhaps a child or a parent, that we share with them and perhaps others that if we go through it in their stead, we would. But the truth is that no matter how much we may want to, we can’t because the circumstance or situation came to our love one.
As a I meditate of the Scripture above at this moment, I am ever mindful of being born with a sin nature and zillion sins I have committed in my lifetime. How my life was one of rebellion and transgression again the Holy, Pure and Perfect God. Ephesians 2:1,

Seal yourself off from distractions, get comfortable, and take today’s words in for a tremendous blessing. As with all study of Scripture, what you get out of them will be in proportion to what you put into them.
We start with a question: Do you realize the importance of seeing from God’s viewpoint? This is profound.
Seeing from God’s viewpoint is the only way, the only truth, the only life – every other way is futile, a lie, and death. Jesus addressed this on the mount: The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! (Matt. 6:22-23).
We are full of light when we see as God does that we already partake…

We spend so much time looking for inner peace. Inner peace is essential for our feeling of self-worth and value. But our searching for inner peace is futile as long as we search for it in external places. We seek stability in relationships but people fail us. We seek passion in porn but that is passion that leaves us empty and seeking more. We seek security in finances and careers but they fail. We seek strength in healthy living but everyone dies eventually. Only Jesus gives us the inner peace and sense of value we crave.
