The world measures success by what you have and what you do. This can lead to frustration and anxiety. God measures success by a life of holiness, mercy, grace and love. None of these are possible apart from the work of the Holy Spirit.

Some equate holiness with boredom. What’s boring about living in love, joy and peace, and knowing your forgiven? What’s dull about living ‘set apart’ (a definition of holiness) from worry, fear, and anxiety about the future? God loves us enough to rescue us from all the frustrations of the world. And it’s all because of Jesus!
