tragedy

Hi Everyone,

These past couple weeks have been filled with tragedies for our country, especially in Orlando, Florida. I am sure you have seen these stories shared numerous times on your Facebook feed and talked about 24/7 on the news. The thought that life is unpredictable and any day we could be hit by a tragedy like that is frightening. However, as believers, we have the gift of hope because we know the One who holds our personal futures and the future of our country in His hands. Nothing slips by Him that He did not expect. He is never shocked and never overwhelmed. A few months ago I was watching a live Periscope stream with Gretchen Saffles of Life Lived Beautifully Ministry, and she said something which has stuck with me since then.  The Lord has frequently spoken this into my life, “Faith trumps fear.” If that is true…

“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”(Psalm 46:10). Whenever I’ve read this verse, (which is usually on a FB graphic or on a coffee mug), I imagine calm seas and peaceful breezes. We often talk about this verse when we […]

The Modern Theologian's avatarChurch Set Free

Okay, this seems a simple enough question – when you pray in your home, to whom are you praying? When you worship in church, whom is your church worshiping? Why, God, of course! Are you?

We believe in a Triune God – Father, Son, and Spirit. So, I will ask again – Whom do you Worship? To whom do you pray?

This answer should also be simple, and immediate: the Father, and the Father alone. It is to the Father that worship is due. Not the Son, nor the Spirit, but the Father alone.

Jesus is very clear on this, yet I often hear people, pastors, congregations saying how they worship Jesus, or pray to the Spirit. Jesus never advocated us to pray to him (or the Spirit) quite the opposite:

Matt 6:6 “But, when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father…”

Charity's avatarWelcome to DCL Ministries

DCL Ministries wants to send wonderful wishes and blessing’s to all father’s today. There are many who love being a father and treasure the times and memories that they are building with their children. May the Lord continue to bless the God fearing men who are leading, molding and pouring into their families daily. Thank you for taking the time to talk to your children and thank you for spending quality time with your children and thank you for raising your little men to become wonderful God fearing adult men!

I also would like to encourage father’s that might have lost their children. Remember that God knows what he is doing for your life and though you still cry and feel the wounds of loss, still choose to hold onto the One who can and will make things better for you. No matter what,  you are still a father and…

godisalwayswithus.com's avatarGod is always with us

A powerful Scripture God telling us He called us by Name, Isaiah 43:1 Do not fear, I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by Name; you are mine. He sees my every move, where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? Psalm 139:7 How amazing are your thoughts concerning me. How vast is the sum of them! Psalm 139:17 Wow these two statements and two questions of written Scripture can give us so much confidence in our God, always being there all around us. He is with me, Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Praise God.

Exodus 14 14 picture The Lord will fight for you, and you need only to be still. He will fight for you, Exodus 14:14 The Lord God will fight for you, you need only to be still. Wow…
