What plans can we have today that are good and what can we do to bring God glory? We can pray for the sick, we can give to the poor, we can make a meal for the hungry, and so much more so in these things we find love, love for our brothers and sisters and they feel love. Evil leads to evil. let us be faithful as our God is faithful..Love BettyB..let’s pray..

Lord Jesus as we come before you this morning help us to plan always to do good, help us not to plot against anyone, guide us into your truth Lord, only your truth can make us free, prepare us for another day help us to show all your goodness…

I’m releasing “Reflections on Hebrews” today as a Version 1.0. I have added a fair amount of charts and other info to the series I ran here last year, and hope to expand it into a “Big Boy” book in the future. In the meantime, I think that this version will help most people to better understand not only this awesome book, but the entre Bible. I say this because a good understanding of the book of Hebrews will enable you to see how the Old and New Testaments interface like no other book of the Bible does.

Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love. God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. In keeping with our thoughts from yesterday, sin is a very real part of our lives. Even the great Apostle Paul lamented that the ‘things he wanted to do he rarely did and the things he hated doing he found himself heavily involved in’ (Romans 7:18-20).

But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family do not make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God. 1 John 3:8-10
