Ascribe to the Lord, you heavenly beings, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength. Ascribe to the Lord the glory due his name; worship the Lord in the splendor of his holiness.

The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is majestic. PRAYER: Lord Jesus, we live in a world of conflict. Brother fights against brother, families are in disarray and simple things like going to the  grocery store are uncertain at times…

Many Christians don’t know how to pray. They lack the incentive that turns their prayers into a powerful statement of faith, and sadly many of their prayers go unanswered. But for those Christians who know how to pray, we can say with total certainty, “PRAYER WORKS!”

So, what makes prayer work for some Christians and not for others? Simply, it’s our lack of faith in God. Many of us come to God in prayer with a hope that He’ll hear us and with a hope that He’ll answer. We really don’t know for certain that He will hear us, that He will answer us or that He even can help us.

We tend to analyze circumstances according to our own standards and our own abilities. The amount of money we need is too great and impossible for us to attain, and we’ve thought of every possible answer and there is…
