“You were running the race so well. Who has held you back from following the truth?” Galatians 5:7
You were running the race so well. Those are haunting words. There’s so many times when we start out strong, but the obstacles our way slow us down and sometimes, they cause us to stop. Every runner knows there comes to time when your body says stop. It’s the strong thatpush through. The same is true in our spiritual lives. There will be people that will discourage us. There will be events that are thrown in our way to try to stop us like stop sticks trying to stop a speeding car. Paul is saying here, press on! Don’t allow people or circumstances keep you from what God has already given you.
