“Visible Grace”
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people… Titus 2:11
The early church heard reports from Antioch of great numbers of people coming to salvation through Jesus Christ. This caused the church leaders in Jerusalem to send Barnabas to investigate. The bible tells us that when he arrived he saw or witnessed the grace of God. When he came and saw the grace of God, he was glad… (Acts 11:23)
It is true that it is by the grace of God that we are saved. Grace is a free, unmerited gift of God. For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8)
