Most of us remember a time growing up when we were asked to try something new. We may have refused because we had a pre-conceived idea that whatever it was would not be good. Some look at God that way. We don’t want to sell out to him because, in reality, we think we can do it better. Blessed is the one who has learned from personal experience that God’s ways are the best ways.

It’s so easy to base our self-worth on what others think about us. But people are fickle. They come into our lives and leave again. Some are loyal, others are not. There is one who is always pleased with me and will never leave me for all eternity!

When we live in intentional, known sin, God turns his face for he can not look on sin. Oh! But when we confess and repent he eagerly comes to us with open arms. He never waits to renew our relationship.

Few things to ponder on…

Who are the people in my life that I consider enemies or persecutors?

What must I let go of in order to love them…
